True love is all about trust. When you love someone, you trust them with the most intimate details of your life. You trust them with your very life. But your ​hair​? That's asking a lot. 

Your hair is a very special, sacred thing. (I once called off sick from work because I was having a bad hair day so tragic I didn't want the rest of the world to see me.) But in this video from BuzzFeed, girlfriends show how real their love is by letting their boyfriends chop away at their precious locks. The results were mostly OK, thank goodness. It might be a little uneven, but this one is actually pretty cute:

And then of course, it was the guys' turn to let their girlfriends work on their hair.

As for the results for the dudes, they weren't that bad, I think? "I don't think I should ever cut his hair again," said one woman. "It's too stressful. And if I'd done any worse, I think we would have gotten into a fight."
