Every year the Forbes list comes out with its own set of shockers.
Sometimes, the frequent toppers of this list (for many years in a row) are not to be found, even in the top 10, and sometimes, a celeb who's gained huge popularity in a very short time, makes their way to the top.
Need an example? For starters, Shah Rukh Khan, who's considered as one of the richest actors globally, didn't find a spot in this year's Forbes Highest Paid Celebs list.
Dwayne Johnson, on the other hand, being the highest paid actor amongst the highest paid celebs, made him the richest actor of this year.
Here are the world’s 10 highest paid celebs and their earnings, according to the publication:
1. Floyd Mayweather: $285 million
2. George Clooney: $239 million
3. Kylie Jenner: $166.5 million
4. Judy Sheindlin: $147 million
5. Dwayne Johnson: $124 million
6. U2: $118 million
7. Coldplay: $115.5 million
8. Lionel Messi: $111 million
9. Ed Sheeran: $110 million
10. Cristiano Ronaldo: $108 million
Bummed out about an Indian not being in the list? Luckily, that is not the case. Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan have secured the 76th and 82nd spot, with earnings of $40.5 million and $37.7 million respectively.
