Sonali Bendre's Friendship Day Post Will Make You Want to Call Your BFF ASAP

Sonali Bendre has been garnering the support of fans and friends alike since she was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago. And as we pray for her speedy recovery and healing, along with the rest of the country, we've been privy to updates on her health thanks to her husband and her social media. 

Fighting a terminal disease can depress anyone, which is why the support of friends and family is so important. This is something Sonali recently appreciated, on the occasion of Friendship Day, when she made a special post acknowledging and thanking her girlfriends for all the support they've given her. 

The photo (clicked by Hrithik Roshan) alongside the long and touching caption, features a bald Sonali happily sitting next to long time friends, Gayatri Oberoi and Sussanne Khan, having a casual smoothie and chilling. In the post, Sonali thanks her friends, her "pillars of strength," for "never leaving a moment for me to feel alone." 

The full caption read: 

"This is me. And in this moment, I am really happy. People give me strange looks when I say that now, but it's true and I'll tell you why. I am now paying attention to every moment, looking for every opportunity to find joy and #SwitchOnTheSunshine. Yes, there are moments of pain and low energy, but I am doing what I like, spending time with people I love, and feeling very loved and happy. I am extremely grateful to my friends, my pillars of strength, who at a moment's notice, arrived to be with me and help me through this. In between their busy schedules they find time to visit, call, message, FaceTime... basically never leaving a moment for me to feel alone. Thank you for showing me what true friendship is. #HappyFriendshipDay, ladies. Blessed to have you all in my life (including the ones not in the picture...
