Priyanka Chopra's career graph has only gone up(and how!) since the year 2000, after she won the coveted Miss World pageant. Every time the fans thought she had reached the pinnacle of her career, the actor proved them wrong and achieved greater heights.

Priyanka once shared how her father wanted her to shatter every glass ceiling that came her way. She said, “My father used to ask me why you want to fit in the glass ceiling when you can actually shatter it.” Following these words of wisdom, Priyanka left the comfort of stardom she already had in India, and signed a deal with ABC Studios for the TV series, Quantico. The 36-year-old managed to woo the American audience in no time and bagged several other Hollywood projects like Baywatch, A Kid Like Jake, etc.

Recently Priyanka attended FICCI Ladies Organisation’s (FLO) interactive session on ‘Challenging the Status Quo and Forging New Paths’. During the media interaction, the actor spoke about how she still stands by her decision of opting for the role in Baywatch. She said, “I don’t know many actresses who have got a chance to play a character like that in a mainstream American movie. Reviews spoke very well of me. I don’t think it was a bad decision; my dad is not sitting in Hollywood saying ‘Oh, let me make a film for you’. I have to choose from what I get as a new actor and I am building opportunities for myself. I thought going toe to toe with Dwayne Johnson, which most guys don’t end up doing, was great. The only thing I missed was not getting to wear the iconic swimsuit.”

We gotta say, it was a real bummer not being able to see her in that red hot swimsuit. However, fans still remember how stunning she looked in that golden bikini in Dostana!

On the work front, Priyanka's first American television series, Quantico just concluded. And, she has already started working on a "super special project", The Sky is Pink.
