Alia Bhatt Shows Off Ranbir Kapoor's Jersey Number In Her Latest Instagram Post!

In case you haven't really noticed, Alia Bhatt's Instagram game has gone wayyy up, with a sweet yet subtle gesture hinting at the love of her life every now and then. Confused? 

Well, we're talking about her latest post on the gram, with her back facing the camera. She's wearing a blue jersey with the number 8, and the caption reads, "to infinity and beyond".

 

What seems pretty straightforward is actually layered with dedications to Ranbir Kapoor, her boyfriend. 

Recently, Alia was spotted wearing a jersey of Ranbir's fave football club, Barcelona.

While most of us know RK is an ardent football lover, not many may have noticed that his jersey number is 8, whether he is playing or cheering for his team from the stands!

 

So that number 8 on Alia's jersey isn't just a coincidence. This, in addition to playing Ranbir's muse in so many photographs, which she posts crediting "RK" further proves her sly hints. We gotta give it to the lady, she sure knows how to express her love in a way that's not-so-obvious.

 

In a recent interview with The Hindustan Times, Ranbir Kapoor bared his soul about his relationship, and what are his marriage plans.

"It’s something beautiful and sacred. Honestly, I am not playing hide-and-seek. I am in a happy, positive and beautiful phase of my life. But you can talk about your personal life only to a degree. Otherwise, it becomes the forerunner of your life and your work takes a back seat. There is always excitement to know about someone’s personal life. But you want to give the relationship respect so that people don’t malign it in a gossipy way. It is something beautiful, sacred and really important to you, so you want to deal with it in a nice manner."

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's relationship has even their families' approval, and their happiness is palpable. On that note, Ranbir said, 

"Life is beautiful. Although there are lot of conflicts, bad omens and not-so-good things happening around us, you should never forget that life is beautiful. Everyone should believe that, because there is so much you can do with your life, and there is so much to be grateful for. Talking about myself, not many get to do what they love. But I am fortunate to be in the space that I am in and have the opportunities that I am getting. Be it my family, partner, or friends, I am grateful for all of them. I truly hope that everybody—somewhere in their life—finds their peace of mind, true relationships, and lets go of the negativity around them."

On being asked about his thoughts on marrying Alia, Ranbir said, "It’s all a part of show business. You make up a story, and soon, there’s another story of the first story, and so on. I have always believed that marriage is something that will happen naturally. It can’t be like, ‘Okay, I am 35 now, so it’s time to get married’. It should come to you and your partner naturally and you should both feel, ‘This is the right phase. Now, we should take this relationship to the next level’. But abhi aisi koi baat nai hai (sic). I haven’t decided on marriage yet”.
