"Being Glamorous Comes Naturally to Me" : Kareena Kapoor Khan
Confidence level = Kareena Kapoor Khan!
Kareena Kapoor Khan has always been a celeb who is not afraid to speak her mind, or be her unabashed self in the public eye. Which is why, her interviews always pique the interest of fans and haters alike. Kareena, who recently launched her own makeup line with Lakme, is riding high on the success of her film Veere Di Wedding and prepping for her next flick, directed by her best friend Karan Johar. She's also currently her fittest self—and is basically killin' it in life!
Now, like many, you too are probably wondering how does she do it? In conversation with PTI, Kareena revealed the driving force of her life. "It is important for women to be fearless. It is necessary to be fearless in your choices. I am a fearless person myself. Be it the choice of roles I have made, the way I lived my life post marriage, or after a baby. The idea is that a woman should constantly live her life the way she wants. It should be (done) fearlessly and confidently. That has been my mantra of life." If there's one word everybody associates with this Jab We Met star, it is 'glamorous'. And, she doesn't need to try too hard for it! "I don't consider myself a diva. I think I am as normal a person as anyone else. I stay in my most normal clothes. I think I am the most normally dressed person when I am flying. I never sport an airport look," said Kareena. She further added, "Being a diva or being glamorous comes naturally to me. I don't know how and why it is like that... But I like it when people say I am a diva or a fashion icon. But at the same time, there is a side of me when I am without any make-up, like any other woman. When I am at home with my family, I am just myself." Well, being effortlessly ultra-glam and a power-woman—with overflowing confidence as the cherry on the cake—is the dream. And she's living it. Speaking of which, have you seen her current vacay pictures in Maldives? They will make you wonder out loud if this woman really is a mother of a child who is almost two years old? H/T: PTI
