Deepika Padukone's appearance at the Met Gala 2019 has been making waves on the Internet for the past two days. The actor had the whole world watching as she slayed the 'Camp' theme in an extra AF 3D printed pink Zac Posen dress.

While fans can't stop gushing over how amazing she looked, it's Deepika's after party pictures that seem to have captured everyone's attention. The actor was seen chilling with Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and some other Bollywood peeps at the Gala after party, and this particular picture of them shared by Priyanka has sparked rumours of her pregnancy.

Deepika is seen wearing a vintage body hugging dress, also by Zac posen, and the Internet has gone crazy speculating if she is pregnant. Check out some of the comments that her fans have posted.

Rubbishing these rumours, a source close to the actor said, "These rumours about her pregnancy are absolutely laughable. It is just a bad angle picture." Deepika herself has time and again stated that she will opt for motherhood when the time is right, and has asked everyone to respect her privacy regarding the same. Earlier this year, there was a similar incident where people were speculating and even announcing rumours about Priyanka Chopra's pregnancy all over the Internet (falsely). While many of us might chose to just ignore these rumours as idle gossip, it does bring us back to the fact that we seem to be putting every inch of these actor's bodies under the scanner in a manner that is quite invasive. We tend the forget that even actors like Deepika and Priyanka are allowed to slouch, have an off pose, be bloated or put on a little weight, just like the rest of us. And, while we love to hear about every teensy, little detail of their lives, maybe we should give them the privacy they deserve when it comes to something as personal as starting a family. After all, it is 2019, and it's about time we adopted a fresh outlook and stop objectifying the actors and their bodies, don't you think?
