If you wait with baited breath every year to find out which designer H&M will be collaborating with for its annual collection, you'll be glad to know that the retailer has released this year's details early - and it's a colourful, tulle dream courtesy of Giambattista Valli.
Following super successful designer lines from the likes of Balmain, Isabel Marant and Moschino last year, H&M announced the capsule collection from the Italian designer - and this year, you can shop a pre-drop of the collection early. By early, we mean tomorrow.
Yep, despite the full collection landing in stores and online in November as usual, H&M is planning to drum up excitement in a new way this year with an early launch and a red carpet debut courtesy of Kendall Jenner.
The supermodel, along with Chinese singer-songwriter Chris Lee, influencer and designer Chiara Ferragni and singer H.E.R, gave us an idea of what to expect from the launch by debuting it at Cannes - and basically it's a signature Valli pink tulle dream. We're not mad about it.
In a press release, the company's creative advisor, Ann-Sofie Johansson, said H&M is "thrilled" to be collaborating with the designer. "He is the undisputed master of haute couture with a knack for the memorable silhouette," she said. "To be able to bring his signature styles to our customers is a dream come true."
Valli said: “We called this project ‘Project Love'. The thing that makes me most happy in life is if I can make someone happy. It’s beautiful if I can do that for a wider group of Valli girls and Valli boys.”
The designer is a favourite of Rihanna, and was worn by both Emma Roberts and Lily Collins at the 2019 Met Gala.
The Valli capsule will have an early "pre-drop" on May 25th with nine looks in selected stores and online.
The entire range will launch on November 7th, and it's guaranteed to sell out within minutes - so better get setting those alarms!
