This Ad Shows Exactly How Women Think...

It was International Women's Day yesterday, and leading mobile company, Lava mobiles did something to commemorate the day.

They released an ad starring Sayani Gupta (from Margarita, With a Straw and now Fan) that follows a young woman on her way to work. She's on her phone and she's hopelessly, and a little obsessively, waiting for a guy to call her or text her, or even message her on Facebook for that matter.

She spends the entire journey thinking about whether he ran out of talk time, whether he works in his father's business instead of working in a 9 to 5, and more. Finally, she checks WhatsApp and finds him online. Next thing you know, he calls. And here's the thing, here's why we all identify with this. While we all wait for the guy to call back or text back or even give us a missed call; we play it cool when it does.

And that's what she does too!

Sounds frivolous for a Women's Day tribute right? Not really. The ad's been made by an all-woman team. It's an ad about "real" women, by "real" women.
