Karisma Kapoor's Makeup Artist Decodes Her Latest Look

Who doesn't love a satin finish skin which glows from withing and deeply kohled eyes? If that's your jam, you are in the right place. Recently, Karisma Kapoor was spotted in this same look while donning a sequin number. The makeup complemented her ensemble seamlessly and that's why we asked her makeup artist Kritika Gill to decode it for you!

Kritika shares, that once Karisma had picked on this outfit, they wanted to work on a makeup look keeping the same in mind. "Since the dress was adorned with sequins we agreed that the hair and makeup look should be classic and simple so that the dress itself could shine."

Adding to it, she told Cosmo that they wanted to make sure the hair is sleek and shiny. That's why they went for a centre-parted know just below the crown. "Since Karisma had to dance in front of the camera, nothing but a slick bun would have done the job!" add the celebrity makeup artist.

On asking how can we snag her look, she added that "I started by prepping up the eyes. For this, I used a muted brown cream eye stick. Blending it softly, I made sure the same eyeshadow stick was used for the lower lashline."

Further, she shared the tight-lined inner and lower lash lines with a deep black cream liner. "We also winged it softly on the outer corners and set the same with a black shimmer eyeshadow" she shared. Next, Kritika curled the lashes and followed them up with mascara to give the eyes a fuller look.

With the base being in focus, Kritika shared how Karisma already has great skin (We couldn't agree more!). "Thus, the complexion was kept luminous and bright with a soft dusty rose blush. We add a bronzer to the skin for some warmth and definition. The look was completed with a really soft highlighter for added focus."

The makeup artists shares that, "the eyes were complemented with a glossy mid-tone nude mouth. We wanted to keep the overall look versatile so that it could work for most events." She adds a little tip if you plan on recreating this look, " Just make sure you get a really long-lasting dark black liner and keep the rest of your makeup minimal to work with the eyes."
