Here's how it works: She creates two different homemade concoctions. The first concoction consists of yogurt, honey, and rose petals, and the second mixture combines coffee grinds, cacao powder, and honey. She places both "multi-masking" mixtures on the parts of her face she wants to highlight and contour.

She starts by mixing together the rose petals, honey, and yogurt in a bowl. Then, she slathers the mixture onto her forehead, chin, cheekbones, chin, and lower cheeks.

Dhukai says rose water brightens and tones the skin, while the honey is full of antioxidants that will make your skin glow.

Cosmopolitan.com consulted Dendy Engelman, MD, to see what these ingredients really do for your skin when worn like a mask.

"Honey's antibiotic properties can help treat acne," Dr. Engelman explains. "It's also great for improving hydration, plus the antioxidants attack bacteria and are anti-inflammatory. Just make sure the honey is raw, unheated, and organic because heating and processing degrades the enzymes, nutrients, and antioxidants that are naturally found in honey," she adds. "Using a yogurt with cow's milk can also be effective in calming the skin because it contains lactic acid, which is a natural anti-inflammatory. I recommend putting a few drops on a cotton pad and placing it over any red areas."

Next, Dhukai mixes together espresso or coffee grinds, cacao powder, and honey, which is what she claims give the real contoured effect.

She applies this combination to her hairline, the sides of her nose, her cheekbones, and below her jawline. "Caffeine pulls excess moisture from the skin, making it look more firm and tight," Dhukai wrote.

Dr. Engelman also agrees that coffee works to tighten your skin and all the ingredients are safe to use for a contouring mask. "Coffee helps aid in the lymphatic drainage and smoothes out the appearance of skin, because the caffeine shrinks the fat cells," she says. This is how it makes the skin look firmer and tighter, which is why it's a common ingredient found in cellulite creams."

After allowing the mask to completely dry on her face and washing it off with lukewarm water in circular motions, Dhukai finally reveals a subtle contoured glow. Her fresh face looks flawless!
