Lupita Nyong'o Just Set the Most Amazing Makeup Trend

You can reply on the beauty brave Lupita Nyong'o to go all-out on a theme and for the UK premiere of Star Wars the actress did just that. With galactic metallic blue lips. Wow.

The Lancôme ambassador got creative with her fave brand's eye makeup products for the lip look – something we might try for a party ourselves.

Mixed with lip balm, Lupita wore the DramaLiqui Eyes pencil in Minuit as a base color and added a touch of bright metallic blue by dabbing the Color Design Eyeshadow in Sapphire Lace in the centre. She finished the otherworldly lippy with a tiny bit more balm on top for a slight sheen.

We also love how the style icon complemented the makeup with mesh netting covering her top-knotted afro and some dazzling metallic ear candy.

Her equally gorgeous co-star Daisy Ridley stuck to the futuristic theme too, with her hair sleekly styled into a graphic loop.

Although it appeared to be glowing blue it was just the light giving it this effect, so while the style was space age she played it safe with the colour palette. Chic.

The girls are setting the bar high for the coolest premiere beauty vibes ever, but then again this is The Force Awakens - and we'd expect nothing less...
