Highliner is the New Eyeliner

Who needs bold brows when your liner game is this strong?

Highliner is the New Eyeliner

Coloured liner and bleached brows have stormed the beauty scene this Fashion Week (it all started with Lady Gaga's platinum brows in New York). For Amie Victoria Robertson's first collection here in London, makeup guru Diane Kendal created this show-stopping look using Marc Jacobs beauty products.

Famous for her full, thick brows, model Georgia May Jagger was almost unrecognisable with these 'invisibrows'. Her look instead focused on bright blue coloured liner above her eyelid crease, quite the beauty statement for walking the runway.

Diane painted some models with blue liner, whilst others rocked hot pink. Could this be the new way to sculpt your eyes? We think so.

This highliner technique works in the same way as cut-crease eyeshadow, except it's much more colourful. You simply apply the coloured liner above your crease, and just below the arch of your brow bone.

Georgia May loved this look so much that she took it one step further than the runway - wearing it to the Marc Jacobs dinner. Ditching the black liner for the evening event, she put on a light coat of mascara to take this look from runway to real life. Plus, we love the fact that her eyeliner matches her blue suit. SO chic.

Now, we're not quite sure if we could pull off this dramatic look as well as Georgia, but heck, we're definitely up for giving it a go (in the comfort of our own bedrooms, of course).
