“He’s Not My Type” and Other Statements Deepika Padukone Has Made About Ranveer Singh

"He's not my type."

Something we all say to ourselves when we meet someone we don't see ourselves dating. 

Starting typically with a different taste in music, movies, or food, li'l do some of us know we'll finally end up dating that guy. Relatable? Sounds like something similar happened with Deepika Padukone when she met Ranveer Singh. 

Just when we thought we may just see Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tie the knot, before we could even get one quote in confirmation, these two have finally decided to let their fans in on some of the basic deets about their relationship. Keeping it private and playing with our minds, this couple has never admitted to the 'alleged' relationship. But, as they say, no time like the present to do so. 

At the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, the actress revealed that right after Ranveer Singh's first movie, her agent knew he was going to be a star while she wasn't so sure. Recalling the time before their romance took off, she used to think that he isn't her type.

Not just that— in another interview with a leading publication, Deepika talks about Ranveer's affectionate and supportive qualities. 

"When there are people you connect with in your life, your relationship is bound to evolve. It should move forward. I think both of us have managed to find that in each other. It feels great to find someone who is dependable, who you can trust, who puts you before himself," she said. 

When asked about the wedding rumour by a tabloid, the actress refused to comment but it is said that the couple may make an announcement around 17th of this month.

We really hope that happens!
