This Friends Plot Hole About Monica And Chandler's Guest Bedroom Will Make Your Head Spin

Yes, it’s been 15 years since Friends ended and YES, we’re still binge-watching episodes in 2019 (thanks Netflix). So it's no surprise that a good ol' Friends rewatch is resurfacing plot holes we've never noticed before, including the latest observation about Monica Geller and Chandler Bing after they move in together.

Buzzfeed pointed out that during season 6 Friends episode 'The One With Ross' Denial', Chandler suggests turning Rachel’s old bedroom (now the guest bedroom) into a games room with arcade games, like Space Invaders and Asteroids.

Sounds fun, except Monica completely shuts the idea down by saying, “Interesting idea, talk about it, but no. The beautiful guest room’s going to be filled with antiques.”

Fine, but what about when Monica changes her mind after Phoebe buys the couple the arcade game Ms Pac Man as their wedding present in season 8?

After receiving the gift, Monica is over the moon because she says she “practically spent my entire childhood at the arcade” and even claims she wants to “put it in the guest room” - the same guest room she believed arcade games shouldn't belong in back in season 6.

Hang on, what?! She could be lying, but when Phoebe starts getting good at Ms Pac Man, Monica gets jealous and tells her, “I love this game so much that I would just like the chance to play a little too."

Hmm, does she like arcade games or not? Friends writers, we need answers!
