Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged on Valentine's Day in a helicopter, but they're still in no rush to head to the altar. According to Katy, she and Orlando have some work to do before anyone says their vows.

Talking on the KIIS Kyle and Jackie O Show, Katy first dodged a question about how well endowed Orlando is (she said it's what's on the inside that matters!) before discussing their upcoming wedding.

When one of the hosts asked her if their wedding will take place this year, Katy avoided giving a date and instead opened up about ~emotions~. She responded, "I think we're doing really great, and we're really doing the hard work laying a beautiful foundation before we start to build a massive house."

Now, before you get all excited about the idea of Katy and Orlando building a home as big as Disneyland, their rumoured wedding venue, know that she was speaking figuratively.

She clarified, "I was saying it, like, emotionally. It's important for us to do the work before we go and take this really big next step. We were both married before and it's not the same in your thirties. "

She didn't say what exactly they need to work on, but if her thirsty Insta comments on Orlando's posts mean anything, they're definitely headed in the right direction.

Katy then talked about sending an olive branch to Taylor Swift, who reportedly might score an invite to the wedding. An ET source said the couple has "already talked guest list and have even talked about including Taylor Swift!” Hopefully Tay Tay brings a batch of her apology cookies as a wedding gift for all the guests!
