Fashion week is one of those occasions where celebrities deliberately switch things up in the style department, ditching their beloved wardrobe staples in favour of more 'far-shun' looks. Whether they're sitting pretty front row, or running errands around New York City, the whole week is basically one big celebration of outlandish style and the art of peacocking.

While many are looking forward for sartorial inspo, trying to anticipate what's gonna be the next biggest trend, others appear to be looking back to the archives for outfit ideas - and Kim Kardashian is a case in point. For her latest appearance in the Big Apple - at Serena Williams' show - the star wore a look that instantly transports us back to 1998.

Kim stepped out wearing a sleeveless silver metallic top made out of the trippiest, stretchiest fabric - a piece she then paired with wide leg leather trousers and that lace-up crotch trend.
