Katy Perry is Pregnant and Expecting Her First Child With Orlando Bloom

Somebody grab the baby bottle and throw it in Katy Perry's direction, because the singer has confirmed she's pregnant and expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom. Hooray!

It's happy news today for the 35-year-old singer, who took to Instagram Live to confirm she and Orlando were having a baby together, after teasing a pregnancy in her new music video, 'Never Worn White'.

In the visuals, Katy is seen cradling a baby bump in a flowing white dress. Amid fan speculation that she and the 43-year-old actor were expecting a child, Katy took to social media to confirm: "There’s a lot that’s happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively… to something you guys have been waiting for.

"I’m excited, we’re excited, and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music. While it’s not the lead single, it’s a good way to start out. I had to reveal it [the pregnancy] at some point."

She added, "It’s getting pretty obvious."

Orlando and Katy got engaged in February 2019 when he proposed after three years of dating. The actor is already a father to nine-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, and this will be Katy's first child.

The lyrics to 'Never Worn White' seemingly refer to Katy's relationship with Orlando, referencing how she feels about their wedding day and the future they have ahead of them. Lines include:

"Thank God that you were man enough to come / Answer my mamma's prayers / You asked the question, I said, "Yes" / But I'm scared. 'Cause I've never worn white / But I wanna get it right / Yeah, I really wanna try with you.
"See us in sixty years with a full family tree (I do) / Give my blood, sweat, and tears to reach our destiny (I do) /'Cause love is a minefield, let's take this war, baby (I do) / 'Cause at the end of it all, I choose you and you choose me (I do)."

Congratulations, guys! Could a wedding and baby be planned for summer 2020?
