Justin Bieber Denies Sexual Assault Allegations From Two Women

Singer Justin Bieber has denied allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman (known only as Danielle) in 2014, after performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Following the accusations, he posted a series of tweets featuring screenshots of emails and hotel receipts showing that he wasn't in the Four Seasons as claimed. He also added that he couldn't have committed the alleged assaults as he spent the night with his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The woman who accused Bieber posted from an anonymous account on Saturday night, which was then swiftly removed after the singer weighed in on the situation. It's reported that her tweets said the incident took place at the hotel on 9 March 2014.

"My friends and I were enjoying ourselves the entire night," Danielle wrote, according to a report from Vulture. "A man then approached me and my friends and asked us if we wanted to meet Justin. Of course we said yes." She then said that she consensually kissed Beiber but did not want to get into bed with him, as he requested, and that he then assaulted her.

"I don’t normally address things as I have dealt with random accusations my entire career but after talking with my wife and team I have decided to speak up on an issue tonight," Bieber wrote in a tweet.

"Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly," he continued. "I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement."

Bieber then went on to say, "In the past 24 hours a new Twitter [account] appeared that told a story of myself involved with sexual abuse on March 9, 2014 in Austin Texas at the Four seasons hotel. I want to be clear. There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location."

A series of email conversations between his team, in which they discuss staying in an Airbnb on 9 March and at the Westin the following night, were then shared.

Another of his tweets also says, "We have also confirmed with the Four Seasons regional manager that I was never on property on the 9th of March 2014 and never a guest on the 9th or the 10th and I welcome all press to inquire with them if needed or wanted."

A second woman, named Kadi, has also claimed that Bieber assaulted her following a meet and greet in New York, in May 2015. She alleges that he locked them in a bathroom and began touching her, despite her protests that she wouldn't have sex before marriage.

The star has not responded to these specific accusations, however several tweets contradicting Kadi's story (including one saying she'd never met Beiber) have resurfaced.

Selena Gomez has not publicly commented on the accusations.
