- Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorce rumours were first reported in January.
- According to TMZ, Kim officially filed the papers today.
Following more than a month of speculation, Kim Kardashian has officially filed for divorce from Kanye West. TMZ was first to report that the KUWTK star's lawyer, Laura Wasser, filed the papers today.
According to the website, Kim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their four kids, North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, one. They report neither Kanye or Kim are contesting the prenup they have in place.
TMZ also claims Kim and Kanye are "far along" when it comes to how they are going to divide up their property.
The news comes less than two months after Page Six first reported that "divorce was imminent" following six years of marriage.
Kim and Kanye are yet to publicly address the divorce, but multiple sources have shared details on the couple's split since it was first reported. Earlier this month a source told E! News the pair "are completely done and no longer speaking" and that Kim "is trying to stay strong and move on with her life".

It comes as fans noticed that it appeared the rapper had moved his belongings out of their Los Angeles home. Kim recently took followers on a virtual tour of her 'Skims showroom', showing off racks of her shapewear line in a closet in her home. It appeared to be the exact same space Kanye had his clothes in when he invited David Letterman into their home for My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
We're wishing both Kim and Kanye well during this difficult time.
