From being the brand ambassadors of reputed companies to now being the face of their own label, celebrities have redefined the phrase, 'Hustle in silence and let your success make the noise.' 

Not only have the who's who of the industry conceptualised their own brand ideas, but they've also have studied up the golden rules of marketing their products! In short, they aren't solely the pretty faces that are spiking sales but are entirely capable of surviving as individual entities in India’s price-sensitive market. HRX by Hritik Roshan

Nush by Anushka Sharma

 

Actor Anushka Sharma—who established a production house company, Clean Slate Filmz, along with her brother Karnesh Sharma in 2013—recently launched her clothing brand called Nush in 2017.  All About You by Deepika Padukone

 

Deepika launched a stylish yet affordable fashion brand called All About You in  2015. Targeting the age group of 18-35 years, the brand is in collaboration with Myntra and sells exclusively on their website. "These clothes are the extension of my personality, of a multitasking woman who is in the age group of 18-35," said the actor in an interview. Wrogn by Virat Kohli 

 

Besides being the brand ambassador for a bunch of companies such as Manyavar, Puma, Vicks, and Vivo, the Indian skipper has launched his own apparel brand called Wrogn—a youth fashion label with fashion startup Universal Sportsbiz in 2014. Ed-a-Mamma by Alia Bhatt 

 

Ed-a-Mamma is a conscious clothing brand launched for children by Alia Bhatt. The kidswear brand offers a range of naturally sourced and sustainable apparel for children in the age group of 2-14 years. Prowl by Tiger Shroff 

 

"Prowl is tailor-made for the evolving requirements of today's young, physically active Indians who want to be fit and fashionable at the same time," said Shroff in a statement during the brand’s launch. The brand was launched in 2016 and retails activewear including t-shirts, tanks tops, sweatshirts, joggers, track pants, compression wear, and a lot more. The Kapoor sisters kickstarted their clothing brand Rheson in 2017, in an exclusive collaboration with Shoppers Stop. "The brand is meant for every Indian girl—no matter her age or her body type. We have always stated that we don't believe in a specific 'target audience'—one should wear whatever makes one happy; age, weight, body type are no bars! Our clothes are for every Indian girl. Being Human by Salman Khan

 

Salman Khan's Being Human clothing brand was born out of the need to support The Being Human Foundation, a Mumbai-based charity founded by the actor in 2007. Being Human products can be found at their website, as well as flagship stores spread across the country. 

 

 

House of Pataudi by Saif Ali Khan  

 

The Nawab of Pataudi introduced his own line of Indian occasion wear in partnership with Myntra in 2018. "I just love clothes. I have a certain sense of ethnic style in clothes. I feel there is a gap in the market and there are more people looking for Indian clothes online. So I talked to Myntra's CEO and we came up with the idea of 'House of Pataudi," the actor told IANS. 

 

 

Just F by Jacqueline Fernandez

Touted as India's first athleisure brand, Shahid Kapoor’s SKULT was launched in 2016 on abof.com—an online fashion shopping destination by Aditya Birla Group. The actor claims that he personally pays attention to all details, from the fabric used to prepare a garment to the cut of a t-shirt.
