Unless you are living under a rock, or were on a social media detox (well do if you were), news of Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian's st-uhn-ing beach proposal would have reached you by now. Kourtney got engaged to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker yesterday and the proposal my friends, it was grand! Just how grand you ask? Allow us to offer up some pictorial reference.

According to an insider who spoke to E!, Kourtney had no idea the proposal was coming. “It happened during the sunset at Rosewood Miramar,” the source says. “They had just got back from NYC and decided to do a day trip to Montecito. Kourtney thought it was going to be a casual day, as they always go to Rosewood, and she was totally thrown off.”

Of course, once she walked down to the beach and saw all those roses, she realised what was happening. “(Kourtney) knew the second she walked down the steps and saw the huge floral arrangements that it was happening,” the source says. Travis got down on one knee and “professed his love for her and thanked her for making him a better person. It was super emotional and sentimental. Kourtney was so happy and was definitely emotional. She teared up and couldn’t stop saying ‘I love you.’”

Kravis then celebrated with the entire Kardashian family as well as Travis’s kids, who the source says “were all in on it and surprised them afterward inside the hotel."

“Kourtney and Travis are over the moon. Getting engaged was always their natural next step and they are so thrilled. The proposal was gorgeous and romantic and everything Kourtney wanted.”
