So, Priyanka Chopra Definitely Hinted That She And Nick Jonas Were Expecting Back In November

Earlier this week, news broke that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child via a surrogate and the people of the internet were collectively like ? ? ?. But maybe we shouldn't have been, considering the pretty monumental hint Priyanka dropped about her and Nick's family plans two full months ago.

Priyanka's very public clue about the baby news came during the Jonas Brothers Family Roast special that dropped on Netflix in November. ICYMI or need a refresher, during her incredibly-epic roast of her husband and brothers-in-law (but, TBH, mostly her husband), Priyanka pointed out that she and Nick were the only Jonas couple on stage who didn't have kids yet. Priyanka followed that fact up by saying she wanted to make an announcement before *literally flat out saying* "Nick and I are expecting..."

The crowd instantly erupted in cheers and Nick instantly erupted in this look of confused terror (which we now know must be his "Wait, this is definitely not how we said we planned to announced this news ohmygodisthisreallyhappeningrightnow" face):

Priyanka finished the joke by clarifying that she and Nick were expecting "to get drunk tonight! And sleep in tomorrow!" (And hopefully they did both of those things, since there were just a few weeks away from the new parent life.)

Nick visibly flooded with relief when Priyanka got to the punchline and she very rightly roast his roast reaction, saying, "Your face when I said that was really funny."

Priyanka and Nick announced the birth of their child on Instagram Friday in identical statements that read, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much ❤️."
