Kim Kardashian's Wearing Nikes and Everyone Thinks It's a Message to Kanye West

Kim Kardashian hopped on Instagram over the weekend and we need to discuss her shoes. Which, as you can see, are very clearly a pair of Nike Air Max 95s. Pls note that while Kim didn't reference the shoes directly in her post, she did go ahead and give us a shot of just them in the last pic of this carousal:

 

So what does this mean? One could argue literally nothing!!!! But some things to note: 1) Kanye left Nike for Adidas, so safe to say Nike is a rival brand. And 2) Kim has pretty much been wearing Yeezys nonstop to support Kanye, even during the early days of their split like in this pic:

So naturally, and as Cosmo UK first pointed out, fans think that her jump to Nike is a subtle-but-not-that-subtle way of making it clear she is truly over her relationship with Kanye—who spent the weekend in Paris with his new muse, actress Julia Fox.

Kim hasn't spoken out about her divorce in a while, but it's been pretty dramatic lately. On top of a misunderstanding about Chicago's birthday party (Kanye wasn't initially invited), he dropped a new track with lyrics implying that their kids are being raised by nannies and cameras, and said he wanted to beat Pete Davidson's ass. Meanwhile, Kim and Pete still appear to be going strong, while Kanye and Julia have been dating since New Year's Eve, when they first met in Miami.

It's a lot to keep up with. Like, if only there was a show that had both "keeping up" and "Kardashians" in the title.
