Cannes Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world said to be held on May 17 this year. Bollywood actor, Deepika Padukone has been chosen to be a part of the exclusive jury for the 75th Cannes Film Festival which reviews and rewards one of the 21 films in Competition with the Palme d'Or. Along with esteemed names such as actor-filmmaker Rebecca Hall and Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, festival organizers announced.

Reportedly, the star will be representing India at Cannes as a part of her collaboration with Louis Vuitton, a French luxury fashion house and company. In her first appearance on the Cannes 2017 red carpet, Padukone looked stunning in a sheer tulle Marchesa Notte gown featuring an embellished bodice and a figure-hugging silhouette. She finished off her look with Jimmy Choo heels and De Grisogono jewellery.
