Cosmopolitan India: What is the one beauty hack that you picked at random and is now part of your routine?

Saiyami Kher: For me, it’s drinking water. It’s not something random, but a grandmother's tradition that I picked up from her that’s helped me immensely.

Cosmopolitan India: What does self-love mean to you?

SK: Self-love is all about loving and accepting who you are. Being happy with yourself and not changing yourself as per what people have to say. Finding your own happiness and not being dependent on someone else.

Cosmopolitan India: Where do you draw your confidence from?

SK: That’s a good question. I’m glad you think I’m a confident individual. I think it’s all about being secure and confident in whatever I do and who I’m with.

Cosmopolitan India: If there was one food item that you could eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?

SK: I’m a chocolate person, so anything with chocolate works well for me. It’s my weakness.

Cosmopolitan India: What are your three favourite fashion accessories?

SK: I’d say a diamond earring set, which goes with everything. Along with that, it’ll be a nice pair of jeans and a nice black dress.

Cosmopolitan India: What would you tell your 18-year-old younger self?

SK: I’d tell her that to make the most of it because time goes by very quickly.

Cosmopolitan India: What’s on your playlist these days?

SK: I’m a huge Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, and Asha Bhonsle fan. And a song that I absolutely love is Raina Beeti Jaaye from Amar Prem.

Cosmopolitan India: What’s your favourite cheat meal?

SK: Anything chocolate, but I like my pizza as well.

Cosmopolitan India: What’s your favourite travel destination?

SK: It has to be Ladakh. I’ve been all over the world, but this is one destination where I feel the most peaceful.

Cosmopolitan India: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?

SK: To keep your head down and keep working hard.
