Karan Johar Just Introduced the Lead Pair of His Next Movie on Instagram...

If you're a millennial who's grown up on Karan Johar movies, you'd understand why we look forward to his upcoming movies with great enthusiasm. After giving us the brilliant tear-jerker of a movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, KJo is remaking the 1969 blockbuster Ittefaq with a fresh,never-seen-before pairing.

The original Ittefaq starred the late Rajesh Khanna and Nanda in lead roles, and the remake will have Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra cast opposite one another for the first time. In fact, Sonakshi, who's not seen the 1969 murder mystery, was advised by KJo not to watch it so as to be able to portray the character in her own way.

What we are most excited about is the fact that Karan is directing a murder mystery, a genre he's never explored before. And we Just. Can't Wait!
