5 Times Bollywood Celebs Were Embarrassed By Their Family Members

1) Farah Khan

Farah Khan's director husband Shirish Kunder caused quite an embarrassment to her during Agneepath success bash in January 2012. Farah's husband made a comment on the failure of SRK's ambitious, big budget project RA.One.

This seemed to annoy Shah Rukh Khan who got into a fight with Shirish at the party and allegedly slapped him. Farah came in support of her husband. But nothing is permanent in Bollywood. Farah and Shirish quickly realised the grave consequences of this and made peace with her good friend SRK.

2) Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia got really embarressed after her father-in-law shared his opinion about rape and women.

According to a report in Mid-Day, he was quoted saying, "Rape is punishable by hanging in Islam. But here, nothing happens to women, only to men. Even the woman is guilty. In India, if you have sex with a person with consent, it's fine. But if that same person complains, it's a problem. Nowadays, we see a lot of such cases. Girls complain when someone touches them, and even when someone doesn't touch them. It becomes a problem then, and the man's honour is ruined in this. If rape happens with or without consent, it should be punished as prescribed in Islam."

The actor took to Twitter to express her shock. She tweeted, " If what I'm reading about my father-in-law's statements is true then me and Farhan are deeply embarrassed and ashamed... We surely do not share this mindset... It's disrespectful to women. If these statements are true then it's sad."

3) Amitabh Bachchan

Jaya Bachchan created a commotion at the music launch of the film Drona. The actor had said that they are from Uttar Pradesh and they will speak in Hindi and that the people of Maharashtra should forgive them. This was a direct taunt to MNS chief Raj Thackeray for his alleged anti North Indian sentiments. This created a stir and must have been an embarrassment to Amitabh Bachchan as Raj Thackeray demanded an apology, after which Big B issued a statement clarifying his wife's remarks and even issued an apology.

4) Kajol

Tanishaa Mukerji and Armaan Kohli's chemistry on the reality show Bigg Boss 7 created a lot of was a controversy. Kajol and Ajay Devgan totally against Tanishaa's decision to go into the Bigg Boss house. Seems like her decision caused a lot of embarrassment to her family.

Tanuja was very much disturbed with Tanishaa's open romance with Armaan Kohli and this relationship was the major reason her family was not happy with her. It is said that brother-in-law, Ajay Devgan even told the channel to evict Tanishaa from the show.

5) Ameesha Patel- Ashmit

Ameesha Patel had to face embarrassment because of her younger brother Ashmit Patel. Ashmit was said to be in a relationship with Riya Sen. Things got ugly when an alleged MMS clip about the two getting intimate got circulated on social media. Both denied the rumours and Ashmit even said on Bigg Boss that though the MMS was on his phone, he never leaked it. Wonder how the clip leaked online?
