The Hindi film industry aka Bollywood has always been enveloped in mysteries. The fans don't just follow movies but also want scoop on the cold wars, fights, affairs and break-ups happening in B-town. In 2001, a major news broke about Salman and Aishwarya. Unfortunately, this relationship had to end publicly after a lot of ruckus got created. A lot of speculations were made about the real reason of their break-up. After a while both Aishwarya and Salman stopped talking about the incident with the media and requested them to do the same. It's been almost 17 years but the incident is still fresh in the minds of the fans.
According to a report by Mid-Day, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had agreed to work with her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan in the movie 'Padmavati'.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali had written the script of this movie keeping Salman and Aishwarya in mind. The two actors had turned down 'Bajirao Mastani' because of their ugly break-up, but for 'Padmavati' Aishwarya agreed to work on one condition.
She was ready to work only if Salman played the role of Alauddin Khilji, who is the antagonist in the film. This would have ensured that the two had no scenes together. The report stated that according to Rajeev Masand's column in Open Magazine, Salman refused to agree to this condition. He wanted to work with Aishwarya but not without sharing any screen space.
The current cast of the movie, Padmavati is Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead with Ranveer Singh as the antagonist.
