Akash Ambani's Viral Wedding Card Worth Rs. 1.5 Lakhs is Nothing But a Hoax!

Relax, people. Not everyone is getting married RN.

The richest family of the country for years now, the name 'Ambani' usually finds its way into our conversation whenever we are trying to spit sarcasm about how wealthy someone is. Talk about your name becoming a benchmark for comparison, across a whole nation (and even the world!)

Just when everybody was obsessing over the secret Italian wedding of Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood celeb Anushka Sharma, people got overwhelmed with wedding bells in the air, and a wedding card claiming to be that of Mukesh Ambani's son, Akash Ambani's engagement started doing the rounds of the Internet!

The viral video shows intricate details of the wedding card, and was claiming to be worth approx Rs. 1.5 lakhs. However, as expected, Reliance Industries has rubbished these reports, and called it all a "hoax". Complete with gold plating and luxe AF deets, the invite was circulating on WhatsApp and Twitter. An official statement was released by Reliance, "A fake video illustrating an alleged wedding card of Mr Akash Ambani – Board Member, Reliance Jio, is being currently circulated on various social media and instant message platforms. We would like to clarify that this video is completely untrue and contains hoax content designed purely for sensationalism"

Here's the clip that went viral:
