"Our Lives Will Never Be the Same Again": Boney Kapoor's Heartfelt Note to His Late Wife, Sridevi

After immense speculation by the Dubai officials, it took three painfully long days for the mortal remains of Sridevi to be transported back to India so that her funeral could be arranged with due respect and in peace.

Yesterday, thousands of fans flocked to witness one last glimpse of their beloved superstar's final journey, as a van bejewelled in white flowers made its way to the cremation ground after all close friends, and family had paid their last respects in the prayer meet that was organised in the morning.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding this sudden death, and some sections of the media were heavily criticised for "insensitivity" and sensationalising the late actor's demise.

Her husband for more than 22 years, Boney Kapoor was the first one to discover this dark news first, and he was grief-stricken ever since. He was even interrogated by the officials in Dubai, when a conclusive cause of death was not being able to be ascertained in the autopsy.

We have seen many times in various interviews, and talk-shows along with behind-the-scene videos, of the doting nature of Boney Kapoor, and how attached he was to his beloved.

We cannot even begin to imagine at the shock and vacuum he and his young daughters, Janhvi and Khushi must be feeling after they finally let go of her, yesterday.

Having maintained a silence till now, Boney Kapoor took to Twitter to express his gratitude for all the love, and support he had received in this devastating time, and requested for privacy for his family's wounds to heal.
