Amidst many speculations, Nick and Priyanka continued to make public appearances together, and Jonas even invited PeeCee as his date to a family wedding. Clearly crossing the 'fling' boundary that many were assuming this to be, given the pop-star's dating history.

And that's exactly the news that reached Nick Jonas's ex-girlfriend and singer-actor, Delta Goodrem! They dated back in 2011, but split up soon after.

However, if sources are to be believed, the Australian singer who incidentally co-stars with Nick's brother, Joe Jonas on The Voice, is devastated with the growing closeness between Nick and our home-girl.

If Woman's Day insider is to be believed, they stayed in touch via text and FaceTime after he left, and he promised he'd be back. "Delta wanted to wait and confess her renewed feelings for him face-to-face," said the source.

But apparently, Nick who was recently vising his brother Joe in Sydney, confessed to her that he's getting serious with Priyanka, who is not just a big Hollywood name now, but also close friends with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.

"Delta was left heartbroken. She feels she can't compete with a hottie from Hollywood, whose best friends are royals," said the source.

Two things we take away from this? Looks like old flames really die hard, and a mix of Bollywood and Hollywood would definitely be incomplete without some explosive drama!
