Here's What Kareena Kapoor Khan Thinks About Working On a TV Show

With the start of the new millennium, Bollywood and its fans were introduced to this actor who traversed the path to become one of the most popular celebrity in town, be it for her acting or for her unfiltered sass. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is riding high on the success of her latest #ImNotaChickFlick Veere Di Wedding, has been holidaying in London with her family for a while, and we bet you haven't missed all the scoop on that!

Recently, in conversation with DNA, Kareena talked about working in a space other than films, for instance, the television sitcoms, or even a web-series, following the likes of many celebs including but not limited to her husband.

She replies, "I'm open to any kind of medium. But again, it has to be something really different and special for me to say yes to it. Saif has done an incredible job in Sacred Games. If I get something out of the box and extraordinary, then why not? It’s all about a good, tight script and some shows on the digital space have outstanding writing."

Most of the youth in India is not much into the kind of content that is running on prime time television, and Kareena too, knows that she is going to side-step that landmine neatly. "I’ve got several offers, but it has never worked out because of some or the other issue. I’m not averse to taking up something on the small screen, but it can’t be a daily soap for sure." Throwing more light on it, Kareena talked about how she has gotten pretty comfortable in her skin, and has given herself the liberty of choice. "I’m a practical person who knows exactly what she should be doing. I don’t think I need to prove myself as an actress. Thankfully, now people know how I am as a performer. Today, when I read a script, I see if there’s something special for me to do. I only want to play great characters."
