Demi Lovato Breaks Silence After Being Hospitalised For Drug Overdose

Fans were shocked last week when Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital in California, for a suspected overdose. At the time, her spokesperson had not confirmed whether Demi had overdosed or not, but had issued a statement saying that the singer was stable and awake. 

Now, after an understandable break, the 25-year-old has finally broken her silence. She issued a short statement on her Instagram, saying that she was healing and thanked all her friends, family, and fans for their continued support.

Since she put it up, there has been an outpouring of love and support from fans and contemporaries alike. Celebrities have commented in support, and it's heartwarming to read.

Demi has been open about her battle with drug addiction in the past, and has included her fans in her journey for sobriety. Unfortunately, a couple of months ago, while on tour, she fell of the wagon and has since been recuperating and healing.
