Looks Like Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor May Tie the Knot Next Year

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have progressed to the next step in their relationship. Before your mind starts racing ahead, we're talking about getting pictures clicked by one another for their Instagram! Since Ranbir doesn't have an account on the gram, it was Alia who posted a couple of photos clicked by bae, "RK". Celebs, they're just like us!

Ever since the two came together for Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's wedding reception, and have been spotted chilling together with each other's fams, multiple people (or instance Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt) have been questioned about what they think of their relationship. In conversation with Mid-Day, Ranbir's father, and veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor talked about his wish to see his son get married now, and how it wasn't an easy subject for him to talk about.

"It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don't have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone."

And now, sources and family friends have been talking about Ranbir and Alia, which has been reported by many leading media houses. It's clear that Ranbir's parents, Neetu and Rishi Kapoor, approve of Alia Bhatt, thanks to Neetu's pictures and constant social media chit-chat with her.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, a family friend revealed, "Rishi Kapoor has never disapproved Ranbir’s girlfriends, be it Deepika, Katrina, or any other girl that Ranbir has dated in the past. He has been cordial with all of them. It is Ranbir’s mother, Neetu, who often disapproves of his girlfriends. She didn’t get along with either Deepika or Katrina, but she adores Alia. As far as Neetu ji is concerned, the alliance is a done deal."

Further, the source added, "If all goes well, the marriage will happen late next year. Alia will continue working in films post-marriage, thereby breaking the tradition of Kapoor bahus giving up their careers like Babita and Neetu did."

We can't say how much truth there is to this source's comments, but if they are, we can't wait!
