"Aishwarya Is a One-Woman Army": Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan is busy these days with the pre-release promotional activities of his upcoming movie, Manmarziyaan. The actor will be seen on the silver screen after a two-year long sabbatical, during which he was focusing on his football team and was thoroughly enjoying this downtime with his family.

The actor spoke about his daughter, Aaradhya, and how children are more mature these days. The 42-year-old said, "Today’s children are so mature, they are able to adapt so much more quickly than us or our parents. Each of us has a different journey of parenthood."

Abhishek, who completed his studies from a boarding school in Switzerland, reminisced about the times when he would write letters to his father. The actor also revealed that he hasn’t decided if Aaradhya will also be sent to a boarding school.

He said, "She is too young, she’s just six years old now. We haven’t discussed it yet. I remember, when I was in boarding school, I would often write letter to my dad. But today’s children are technology driven. Aaradhya writes me notes sometimes when I am out of town. But we usually stay in touch through FaceTime."

It goes without saying that there is a sea of change in the life of a bachelor and a family man. Abhishek got candid about the little things that have changed in his life. He said, "When I was single, I would just pack my bags with the essentials and head off. Now that I am a family man, I try to put some effort into packing for all of us. But before I can get to it, I find that Aishwarya has already done everything that needs to be done. She’s a one-woman army, I must say."
