This Actor Was Supposed To Star In Namaste England Before Arjun Kapoor

Ever since the release of the trailer a couple of weeks ago, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra-starrer, Namaste England is already being talked about a lot given the lead couple being a fan favourite. 

Turns out though, that the filmmakers originally had another actor in mind for Arjun's role, according to Deccan Chronicle. In an interview, filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal revealed that they first considered Akshay Kumar for the lead. "I was going to do this film with Akshay but unfortunately, his dates were blocked. So he requested me to approach someone else and assured that we’ll reconnect for another film on a later date," he said. 

He added: "I went to Arjun and with all honesty, I told him that Akshay was my first choice but dates were not working out. Arjun liked the script that’s how he came on board." 

Well we're sure they can't go wrong with an iconic couple like Arjun and Parineeti, right?
