"He’s the Best Son-In-Law One Could Ask For": Madhu Chopra Opens Up About Her Daughter's Wedding

It's been a week since Priyanka Chopra had her fairytale wedding with Nick Jonas, and we still can't get enough of the photos! Now, the whole event was obviously very private and very few details are known. But now that the couple is in marital bliss, friends and family have started talking about the beautiful nuptials and letting us in on the deets. 

 

Priyanka's mom, Madhu Chopra, recently spoke to DNA, and revealed her feelings about the whole thing, and trust us, you're going to be bursting with happiness (like we are) after reading this. She spoke about how she felt during both the ceremonies, something she was very particular about: "It was an emotional moment for everyone. I broke into tears when I saw Priyanka dressed as a bride. I had waited for this day all my life. We followed all the rituals to the T. There were no shortcuts. I wanted an Indian shaadi for her and Priyanka knew that. She fulfilled my wish. It’s lovely to see the amount of love people have for her and Nick." Aww, spoken like a true mama bear! 

As for the Christian wedding, she shared how she broke down (again) when she saw her daughter walk out in the Ralph Lauren gown: "I was at a loss of words. When I saw Priyanka, I couldn’t control my emotions. The white gown was so beautiful. My baby looked like a princess." 

 

And what about Nick? Well, the producer was all praises for her new son-in-law and his family: "Nick’s family members are such lovely human beings. They were completely fine with the blend of the cultures and Nick is immensely respectful and well-spoken. He makes sure everyone around him comfortable. He’s the best son-in-law one could ask for."

 

Now, isn't that just beautiful?
