You're Going to Want to Watch Kangana Ranaut's Next Directorial Film

Kangana Ranaut is on a high right now. Her latest film, Manikarnika, hit the theatres with a bang and people can't get enough. What's more, she's starred and directed the film, which was fraught with controversies throughout it's production. But all's well that ends well, right?

But at one of the promotional events for the film, Kangana let slip a new beginning — her next film. She's going to another biopic and it's the one we've all been waiting for her. You guessed it — it's about her life.

"Yes, it is true, my own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I'm emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me but accepted me for who I am (sic)," confirmed Kangana.

This, obviously, immediately led people to speculate if she will include the highly publicised controversies that have happened in the past, including people like Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan. But Kangana had a response for that as well: "How can I show my journey without people? I can't be walking alone. But we will not be taking any names. The idea is to project me and my life with all its highs and lows. In the end, it is the story of an achiever, a girl from the mountains who came into Bollywood with any connections in the industry or even a godfather, and went on to carve a niche for herself against all odds and bagging three National Awards along the way."

Well said! And we can't wait for the film to start production to get more deets!
