Shilpa Shetty Gives Us #FitnessGoals With Her New Book

​If you've always wanted to be as fit as Shilpa Shetty (who's 40 and also has a kid BTW!), then now is your chance. The actor-turned-entrepreneur just launched her debut book on fitness on World Nutrition Day.

This isn't a new territory for Shilpa as she has released a yoga DVD in 2008, being one of the first Bollywood stars to do so! Through The Great Indian Diet, Shilpa shares her share insight on fitness and nutrition. The book has been co-authored by Luke Coutinho, who's a fitness and nutrition expert.

In this book, Shilpa has also tried to bust common myths about Indian food like how it's high on sodium and very fattening, which isn't true. Says Shilpa, "A simple dish like rajma chawal is a complete meal, it has the right amount of protein, nine amino acids; it's equivalent to eating an egg. But people are now into quinoa instead."
