Poor, frozen, dead Jack.

Kate Winslet Also Thinks Jack Could Have Fit on That Door

Jack and Rose could have starred in a Titanic sequel of some sort but no, Jack just had to float away and die in the freezing waters of the Atlantic while Rose took a breather on the floating door. Yes, many have been bitter since that awful scene and have never really let go of the bitterness. But perhaps Kate Winslet's thoughts on the whole door thing will warm your heart just a bit. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel last night, Kate admits Rose could have done more than let her one true love freeze to death. "I agree. I think he could have actually fit on that bit of the door," she says. Of course, as MythBusters discovered a few years ago, Rose would have had to go through an ordeal of undoing her lifejacket and tying it to the other side of the door so it could continue floating with two bodies on board. Yeah, too much work.

Elsewhere in the interview, Kate says it's "so lovely" to see all the attention her friendship with Leonardo DiCaprio gets after all these years. The pair sat at the same table at the SAG Awards over the weekend and it was truly spectacular. "It's really quite endearing. We were giggling about it last night," she says. Giggling, and hopefully plotting a film starring Rose and the ghost of Jack Dawson.
