In the sweetest, family-man fashion possible, Abhishek Bachchan brought in the big Four Oh with the whole fam in tow (we're talking Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Nanda and baby Aaradhya​​) in Maldives.

Amitabh Bachchan was inundated with Happy Birthday-grams for his son, to which Amitabh Bachchan replied on his behalf "To all that have sent messages through me for Abhishek on his birthday .. gratitude and thank you!"​
