Uh Oh! Twinkle Khanna's 'Funny Bone' Has Landed Akshay Kumar in Trouble

​We all love people who can take a joke. And Twinkle Khanna is someone who's not just good at making one but also taking one. However, not everyone shares her sense of humour. Case in point: her recent tweet about Art of Living guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar that might affect hubby Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Housefull 3.

Twinkle recently took to Twitter and posted a funny tweet (which has now been deleted) saying: "Sri Sri got his nobel foot and half his beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose the BabaRamdev perfected a while ago #HolyMenandHairyTales." (sic). And this tweet apparently miffed Darshan Hathi, AOL's International Director, who replied to her saying: "Million f followers r going 2 boycott #Housefull3 4 hurting the sentiments by inappropriate and ill intended comments f @mrsfunnybones on Sri Sri." (sic).

Though the Twitterati came out in her support, Twinkle later apologised for the same and tweeted, "Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings was meant to be a joke and am old enough to accept an error of judgement on my part." (sic). Well, it didn't end there, Hathi again tweeted saying, "Error of Judgement or Fear of #BoycottHousefull3. Anyway Being Old and Being wise is different thing."
