Julia Roberts Went Barefoot on the Cannes Red Carpet, And It was Wonderful

Can we just be Julia Roberts, please? Last night, she took to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet wearing a long, black gown, a necklace, and nothing else. As in, she actually wore no shoes. In fact, the megastar lifted the hem of her Giorgio Armani Prive gown to flaunt her bare feet, complete with that ridiculously beautiful grin of hers.

She just literally DGAF.

Though Julia didn't reveal why she decided to ditch her shoes, many believe she did it in protest against the film festival's strict dress code. Last year, there was controversy as the festival turned attendees away for wearing 'the wrong footwear'. It's believed the dress code demands women wear high heels.

But, if anyone is not going to get turned away for ditching the stilettos, it's Julia. So, good on her for seemingly using her influence to make such a bold statement. And a host of Twitter users agree...

Bravo, Julia!
