This "What Do You Mean?" Remix is Proof Justin Bieber Would Have Been an 80s Heartthrob

​It goes without saying that Justin Bieber is the ultimate 21st Century teen heartthrob — but what if he'd been born a couple decades earlier? Would the Biebs have fared as well in the 80s or 90s? Would he still have had the same pop star appeal?

Thanks to the internet, the world need not wonder any longer. SoundCloud user Tronicbox  recently released an 80s remix of Justin's instant classic from last year, "What Do You Mean?" — and it would be right at home at even the cheesiest of proms. Dubbed "What Do You Mean It's 1985," the remix is super catchy and surprisingly wonderful, and it's definitive proof that the pop star would have slayed just as many hearts back in the 80s as he does today.
