# 1. Deepika was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 5, 1986, and later moved to Bengaluru with her family when she was 11 months old.

#2. Remember Himesh Reshammiya's song 'Naam Hai Tera'? (Us neither, but Google says it happened). Well, Farah Khan spotted Deepika in this song, and decided to cast her in Om Shanti Om. So, essentially, it was Himesh who gave her the first break in industry!
