11 Looks From Made In Heaven That Made Us Pause and Stare

Go online and Made in Heaven is all anyone can talk about. The Prime Original has taken the internet by storm, and people can’t seem to get enough of the intriguing plot lines, complex characters, and the masterful treatment of the storylines. An occasion as festive as weddings is chosen as a backdrop to unveil the most complicated situations, emotions and other monstrous societal norms. And the irony of it is definitely not lost on the audiences.

But another thing that stood out in the series was the aesthetics of it all — from the decor in the rooms to the fashion choices. The female characters, especially, stand out with every wardrobe change, be it a central character like Tara and Faiza or a one-time appearance like Deepti Naval and Maanvi Gagroo. In every new scene, we felt that the costumes not only looked great but also perfectly suited the character’s personality and her situation. Even the transformation of Tara's character after getting married to rich industrialist, Adil Khanna becomes evident through her choice of clothing. Be it a board meeting, a casual brunch with prospective clients, or pool time with fam, the show is full of inspo for every occasion!

So here are some of our favourite looks of our favourite characters — Tara and Faiza — from the show, that really made us pause and take notes (yes, we did!).

Tara’s wardrobe in the show literally translates her state of mind in every scene. In a business meeting, she is seen donning clean cut power suits with a fun pair of pants signifying her determination to make things happen.

In another scene where Tara had to go for recce with the client, she wore a floral top with wine coloured pants, keeping it fun, casual yet very put together, just like her character.

From classic plaid to adventurous and fun stripe suits, everything resonated with the character’s professional as well as her personal life journey.

She teams formals with traditional chokers for an east meets west look which is in complete sync with the fun weddings she and her partner organise.

Faiza, on the other hand, has a very boho-chic style. In one of the scenes, her character wore a beautiful maxi dress and accessorised it with a scarf and a belt, which swiftly elevated the style quotient of her outfit.

Her style is effortless and very classy. The easy going attitude of the character is reflected in the outfits as well. Faiza’s style is far from OTT dressing and lives by the motto of easy breezy yet always on point.

For the party scenes or even weddings Faiza chooses simple silhouettes with a bit of bling and dresses it up with the right accessories.

But, what’s most interesting about her style is that she uses accessories even with the most basic outfits to complete the look and voila! it totally works!

The clothes mirror the state of mind of her character. Opting for more casual clothes over dressy ones portrays the struggle with her failing marriage. And after falling in love with Adil, her friend Tara’s husband, the happiness can be seen in her choice of colours and outfits as well.

There’s no doubt that the story is the hero in this show but, these minute details like tasteful outfits that bring out various moods and layers of the character needs to be applauded. We have a feeling that your upcoming season mood board will be highly influenced by Tara and Faiza’s drool-worthy wardrobe!
