6 Women Show You How to Bring Street Style Home

If you're tired of lounging in your XL tees and oversized sweatpants, here's all the in-house style inspo you'll ever need.

We took the battle of the best-dressed to people’s homes (hello, social distancing!), and were impressed by your style picks and outfit choices.

1) Daisy Sas Reang, 27

“We could all use a pop of colour these days to liven things up! I’ve teamed a mint-green top with relaxed-fit pants and a roomy blazer, both in different hues of purple. A pair of white sneakers add to the casual vibe.”

2) Sanika Patil, 23

“For me, there is no such thing as too much shimmer! Case in point: the sequinned jacket that I have worn over a glittery mini skirt. The white, button-down shirt helps balance the look. No accessories, except for pearl studs and dark lips, which help tie the look together.”

3) Ben Jamir, 25

“Monochrome can never go out of style. For this look, I have picked a black suit, reimagined for the hot weather (thus, the jacket casually held on the side), with a roomy, white shirt. The tangerine socks work well to add a pop of colour. I’ve completed the look with my favourite sunglasses and a utilitarian sling.”

4) Nistha Saraf, 33

“I’ve upgraded a basic ‘shorts look’ by layering a checkered bustier over a pristine white shirt. For the finishing touches, I added white boots, and minimal make-up and accessories.”

5) Jesvika jain, 23

“I am a minimalist dresser, and I’m wearing a simple, printed jumpsuit. I’ve added a pale-pink headband, and blue nails (which add a hint of colour, amidst all that brown.)”

6) Mayur Saroj Rajput, 29

“I’m wearing a denim jumpsuit, over a white turtleneck top. I have cinched the waist with a belt for a more defined feel. And the oxidised choker and leather boots helped add just the edge I wanted!”

7) Vartika Sharma, 28

In this fusion look, I’ve tried to channel a ‘modern Indian princess’ vibe. I wanted my maang teeka to be the focal point, so I paired it with a simple white T-shirt dress. Some basic contouring and lightly-tinted lips finished the look.”

8) Rutuja Rathod, 27

“I like clothes that allow me to breathe easy as well as move freely in the heat. Here, I have teamed a plain, black tee with a pair of khakis. I have steered clear of accessories, but made sure I was equipped with the essentials: a mask and gloves.”
