So Saturn (a Couple of Asteroids Too) Is Making You Rethink Your Relationships RN

The final days of 2019 may make us all change our minds about who and what we want to commit to. Forget about the eclipses shaking up our lives, Saturn and two asteroids (Juno and Ceres) have a few tricks up their sleeves to make us all think twice before kissing our current boo at midnight.

Let’s just do a quick refresh about what Juno and Ceres, as well as Saturn, bring to our lives to understand the overall vibe here.

  • Saturn, planet of commitment, is the glue that holds relationships together. At times, Saturn can be a little rigid and austere.
  • Juno is the asteroid of commitment, but on a bad day, she can be a bit jealous. When we look at Juno in our charts or in the sky, we really look at the type of relationship we want. Currently, Juno is in Libra, which means partnerships are at the forefront of all our minds. Go figure!
  • Ceres is the perpetual nurturer and shows how we love unconditionally. Ceres is responsible for giving TLC, support, and protection. Ceres is now transiting the sign of Capricorn, which means we are cautiously planning out our next move in relationships.

Ceres is on the South Node of Destiny, while Juno is squaring both Ceres and the Nodes of Destiny (the North and South Node). This means we are changing the way we love for others (Ceres) by changing up the type of relationship we want (Juno). Now, sprinkle in Saturn to the mix (which is aligning with Ceres and setting off Juno) to make our romantic visions change. We will find that Saturn, for the first time ever, is pushing us to change up how we partner.

Perhaps we’re craving a more open relationship, or maybe we want to date someone who’s more bad boy, less soft boi (or vice versa). Or maybe we just decide that we want a 100 percent commitment and will go about our relationship in a different way than before. The point is, our #RelationshipGoals are becoming different. We don’t want to date the same old boring type we’ve been with for years—we’re craving change in our love lives.

This metamorphosis around love perfects on December 24th—which should make for a verrry interesting Christmas Eve and solar eclipse (happening December 26th). Watch out! You may be caught kissing someone you formerly did not stan but are now crushing on underneath the mistletoe.
