India Now Has Its Very Own Cherry Blossom Festival

For those of you who have been drooling over pics of Japan's dreamy and beautiful Cherry Blossom festival and saving and scrimping to go, there might just be an answer to all your travel dreams that won't cost you an arm and a leg.

That's right, Shillong in Meghalaya has started hosting it's very own cherry blossom festival in India, and it's happening now, in November!

The festival will have live music, rock concerts, guided night walks and many other exciting events.

800 cherry trees were planted in Shillong when this festival was planned, making it a lovely, super scenic and fun holiday destination for all you travel loving peeps.
